Wednesday Word: In the Struggle

•

Today’s blog post almost got canceled.

I’m into day two of a migraine that I thought was going away but seems to be ramping up again this afternoon. Staring at a computer screen is the last thing I want to do right now, but rather than just put up a “Cancelled” sign, I thought I’d try to remind myself–and you too–that God is still with us in the struggle.

He sees us in the pain, in the weakness, in the hardship.

And He loves us all the way through it.

God told Paul, and by extension us, in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV): “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  When we are weak, God is strong. When we struggle, He carries us through.

So until this storm passes, I will trust the one who can walk on water and who gives grace enough to cover my inadequacies. Lean into Him. He’s going to see you through this.

Blessings,

~Lynne
