It’s a new year! Welcome to 2025, friends!
The Bible app on my phone sent me this verse for today:

A lot of people make resolutions this time of the year, and while that may work for you, plenty of times we miss the mark and fall short of our goal. And that leaves us frustrated.
This year, instead of resolutions, I invite you to ask the Lord every day what His plan for you is. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us He has a plan for our lives, which is meant to prosper us and not harm us, but rather to give hope and a future.
And when you ask Him what His plan is, keep an open mind. It could be something simple, like speaking to a cashier or your barista and asking how their day is going. It could be smiling at a stranger you pass by and will never see again. God’s plan includes the little bitty things as well as the bigger things.
When we are faithful in the small things, we will be entrusted with more (Luke 16:10). Do you want to see big things in the next year? Be faithful with the small things and look forward in anticipation, because God is doing a new thing! He has promised, and He always keeps His promises.
Today is the beginning of something new. Turn to a fresh page and follow after Him. He has something amazing in store for 2025.
Happy New Year!

Blessings,
~Lynne
